This booking is for: Compulsory Basic Training Course (C.B.T.)
Duration: 6 - 7 hours, dependent on rider experience
Number of people on course: Maximum of 2 students with 1 instructor for the whole course!
C.B.T.: Suitable for: People that can already ride a motorcycle or scooter
C.B.T.: May not be suitable for: People that have no or little experience on a motorcycle or scooter. 
If you have never ridden before, ART strongly recommend a 1:1 lesson first!!

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO RIDE A BICYCLE COMPETENTLY!
If you cannot ride a bicycle, your training will be cancelled on safety grounds and all fees lost.
You must be able to read and converse in basic English! 
You must be able to understand your instructor & they must be able to understand you!

Price including bike hire and full safety equipment: £189 Weekday discount or £209 Weekends & Bank holidays.
Price using your own bike: £180 Weekday discount or £200 on weekends or Bank holidays.

We supply boots, size 6 - 12, gloves, jacket and trousers XS - XXL. Helmets sizes from XS to XXL, If you are unsure of size you must please visit our school prior to your training course taking place so we may size you correctly.

To help with the booking of our courses we have listed some of the conditions that you must agree to & answer truthfully for all questions please!

Everything listed below is explained fully in our T&C's you will be sent with any booking.

• I guarantee that I can ride a bicycle VERY confidently and safely. Our professional M/C rider trainers will test your ability on a bicycle. If we we have any concerns, your course will be cancelled on safety grounds with no refunds.

• I understand that CBT is NOT a one day course! If you are not 100% safe, happy & in full control of the bike by around midday, you will not be allowed to ride on the road (Element E) in the afternoon & complete the course.
  If you need to repeat the CBT Course, you will have to pay again but you will receive 10% discount. We strongly advise 1:1 lessons for all new riders, inexperienced or nervous.
  Please note, at least 33% (1 in 3) do not complete their C.B.T. in one day, usually due to lack of experience!

• I understand that I am liable for the first £1000 for any damage, if I drop or fall off the machine hired. We expect our bikes to get "bruised" Scratches are fine but broken or bent, must be replaced & paid for. This will usually be the cost of parts only (please read fully our T&C'S)
  
  
• If using your own bike, then proof of insurance, m.o.t. & vehicle excise tax must be provided.

• I guarantee that I have a solid understanding of the U.K. Highway code

• I guarantee that I can read and converse in basic English! You must be able to understand your instructor & they must be able to understand you. If you cannot meet this condition no training will go ahead & you will lose your fees.

• I guarantee that I am booking this course for myself, unless you are the parent or legal guardian for someone under 18 years old? Any bookings made for somebody else will be cancelled & refunded.

• I understand that to cancel, change or refund this course I have to give ART at least 12 full working days notice. Sunday's and bank holidays are not working days.
