Prerequisites

All customers must provide their own:

Motorcycle helmet
Motorcycle gloves
Motorcycle jacket
Motorcycle boots
Jeans, strong trousers or motorcycle trousers

You should provide your own lunch and drinks as there is nowhere convenient to buy anything.

No previous motorbike experience is needed, but it helps our trainers to know whether you have any experience.

You need to be familiar with the Highway Code and communicate in English.

Riding experience

Have you thought about a New Rider Training course? These courses are designed to help with the basics of motorcycling before undertaking the full CBT course.

Experience from previous customers shows those that have completed the New Rider Training course are more likely to complete CBT in a single day.

What sort of UK Licence do you have?

Do you want to go onto get a full motorcycle licence?

Your CBT will include a 2 hour ride on the road. You need to have a good understanding of the highway code, as teaching this is not part of the CBT.

We strongly recommend the government approved course RideFree. This will increase your chances of completing your CBT in one day.

You must declare any special needs, learning difficulties or medical conditions.

Other Comments

You need to tell DVLA about some medical conditions as they can affect your driving.
