We offer 2 types of CBT courses:

BEGINNER AND RUSTY RIDER CBT

This course is for people who have not completed the CBT before, not ridden for a long time or have not ridden on the UK roads.

PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE BOOKING IF YOU HAVE NOT RIDDEN A MANUAL BIKE BEFORE AS THE MANUAL IS TRICKIER TO LEARN THAN AUTOMATIC.

RENEWAL CBT

This course is only suitable for people who have already completed a CBT and wish to renew, up to six months after the CBT has expired.

If you have completed your CBT at another school, we will need to see your previous CBT certificate.

Under no circumstances would this course suit people who have not a completed a CBT before, regardless of experience.

	CBT for 1st time & beginners and rusty riders
This standard CBT course is for people who have not taken a CBT before., or have done so more than 3 years ago.
	CBT renewals (renewing a CBT)
This fast track CBT course is for riders who are renewing their current CBT certificate or it has expired within the last year. Only select a motorcycle with gears if your last CBT was taken on a geared motorcycle. You will need to show us a copy of your last CBT certificate. If your not sure if this course is for you dont book online please call us first.

Prerequisites

BEFORE MAKING YOUR ON LINE BOOKING, YOU MUST ENSURE :-

You are 18 years or over otherwise you will need to make a telephone booking as we need parental consent.

That You can present on the day of your course

1/ A valid Full UK car licence
or
2/ A valid UK provisional licence
or
3/ A Full EU/EEA licence together with a DVLA " D91 confirmation of registration" with provisional "A" motorcycle entitlement

Note no other licence issues, types, documents, scans or photocopies are permitted by regulation.

If your under 18 years a parent or guardian has signed and email back to us the parental consent forms.

Using your own bike/scooter? You will need to provide confirmation of insurance cover & MOT (if reqd.)

You will ensure your machine is legal and fitted with front & rear L-Plates.

You are aware that it would be illegal to ride on public roads to our centre if you do not have a valid CBT certificate.

You can read a car registration plate from 20.5 metres with or without glasses

You have a good knowledge of the Highway Code

You have the coordination and balance to ride a pedal cycle

You are at least 5'1" for our scooters and 5'3" for motorcycles

You have a good level of spoken English, or you will bring an interpreter with you

You have considered a free taster lesson first if your a novice

You are physically and mentally able to participate

You will need to provide and wear tough type clothing at least:- Jeans & Jacket, sturdy footwear covering the ankles & gloves

If necessary we can provide shower proof over trousers and a helmet from xs-xxl (or bring your own legal item)

You have read our terms and conditions and cancellation and amendment policies
