Before You Book
Please do not book your course until you have physically received your driving licence from the DVLA.
Requirements for the Day of Training
On the day of your course, you must:
- Hold a valid UK driving licence (full or provisional), or an EU licence accompanied by a D91 form
- Provide your licence entitlement check (within 72 hours prior to training)
- Be able to read a vehicle registration plate from 20.5 metres (67 feet)
- Speak and understand English, with a good knowledge of the Highway Code
- Meet the minimum age requirement:
- 16 years old for a 50cc moped
- 17 years old for a 125cc motorcycle
- 24 years old for a 600cc motorcycle

Equipment
We strongly recommend bringing your own helmet and gloves.
A limited number are available to borrow if required.
Customer Notice
If you have no previous experience riding a manual motorcycle, we recommend completing your CBT on an automatic scooter. Learning gears for the first time can delay your training progress on the day.
After completing CBT on an automatic scooter, we offer gear conversion lessons if you wish to move to a manual motorcycle.
