• Be able to present to your instructor either:
  1. A valid Full UK Car Driving licence accompanied by a valid CBT Certificate (DL196) or
  2. A valid Provisional UK Driving Licence with valid Category A (provisional motorcycle entitlement), if you intend to ride over a 50cc moped, accompanied by a valid CBT Certificate (DL196) or
  3. A valid full EU Car Driving Licence accompanied by a confirmation of registration of your EU licence in the United Kingdom (D91 form, or D58/2) showing provisional motorcycle entitlement (Category A), accompanied by a valid CBT Certificate (DL196) or
  4. A valid full EU Motorcycle Driving licence as long as the rider has not been a resident in the United Kingdom for more than three (3) years or
  5. A valid full International Motorcycle Driving Licence from a signatory Country of the Convention on Road Traffic in Vienna (1968) as long as the rider has not been a resident of the United Kingdom for more than 12 months.   6. No other documents, photocopies or evidence of entitlement can be accepted
• be able to read a registration plate with or without contact lenses or glasses at a distance of 66 feet (20 metres)
• be able to speak and understand English, Portuguese or Spanish to a good conversational level otherwise you must bring a translator with you
• understand that we have a 24 hours cancellation policy on TfL courses
• a sturdy pair of shoes or boots is especially recommended
