Welcome to Lightning Motorcycle Training's Instructor Training Course (CBT Assessment) on-line booking page.

The following process will allow you to make a booking with Lightning Motorcycle Training, make a payment and receive an appointment letter.

There are only a few things you need to worry about:

To take this training course you must be at least 21 or older and have had a full category A or A2 UK or Northern Ireland driving licence for at least three years.
You must be able to see a number plate at over 26.5 metres (you can wear glasses or contact lenses to do this).
Be a fit and proper person (i.e.no criminal convictions and a maximum of 5 points on your driving licence).
The five day course is designed for people who have had a reasonable amount of riding experience on at least a 125cc geared motorcycle who wish to qualify as a DVSA Motorcycle Instructor. The course will also include training to prepare for the two-day Cardington/Chadderton CBT Instructor Assessment. It is run on a ratio of three students to one instructor.
