The Gear Conversion Course is a course designed for those who already have a Valid CBT Certificate, and simply want to learn how to ride a manual/geared bike.

The 2 hour course will involve learning the controls of the geared bike, slow control, stopping and starting at our off-road site. Your instructor will offer you guidance on your riding and spend time working on any areas where you need some improvement. 

This course is all off-road and focuses solely on learning to ride a geared bike

Necessary information:

This course starts and finishes at our off-road training site. 

We recommend you bringing your OWN legal motorcycle safety helmet. 

If you don't we will lend you one on the day but you must call us to reserve you a helmet at least 24 hours in advance of your course.

YOU MUST bring you own motorcycle gloves & be dressed appropriately for riding a motorcycle on public roads as well as the weather conditions.

If you do not have your own gear, there is a fully stocked motorcycle clothing & accessories shop (XPF Moto) at our main office location, where you can purchase your riding equipment. If you need to purchase equipment on the day please allow plenty of time to do so as our office and training site are not at the same location.
