Welcome to 3 Counties Motorcycle Training Novice Course with a CBT online booking page.

The process will allow you to make a booking with 3CMT and make payment. You will receive a confirmation email.

This package is designed for novice riders or riders who have not been on a motorcycle for some years. It includes the CBT, training with bike hire and both a mod 1 and a mod 2 practical test. You will require a valid theory test certificate.

1. This course is suitable for someone wishing to gain a full Category A licence (DAS 24yrs or older) or a Restricted Category A2 (19yrs or older)

2. You will need to have either a provisional or full UK/NI driving licence or if you have an EU licence you will need a UK D9 counterpart. No other licence is acceptable.

3. You must be able to read a number plate at 20.5m. (Glasses or contacts may be worn)

Prerequisites

Must have a valid UK driving licence or an EU Licence with a D9 form

When attending training you will need to be appropriately clothed as per DVSA guidelines:

motorcycle boots
sturdy footwear or boots that provide support and ankle protection
textile or leather motorcycle trousers
heavy denim trousers
heavy denim jacket with several layers underneath
textile or leather motorcycle jacket
motorcycle gloves

The following are examples of clothing that are not acceptable:

lightweight training shoes
canvas basket ball trainers
any form of clothing with areas of exposed skin
shell suit or lightweight tracksuit
distressed ripped jeans
lightweight fleece or hoody
no gloves or skiing gloves
