Learning to ride a motorbike for the first time can be difficult. If you have little to no riding or driving experience, this ITM course is perfect for you.

 

Ideally, someone learning to ride a bike will be able to ride a bicycle and have good balance. However, if you cannot ride a bicycle, this course will help you get started on your journey by giving you a structured and thorough introduction to motorcycling and basic machine control.

 

This course is also often helpful to students that fail to meet the required level of control during the off-road section of the CBT, to better prepare them before re-taking the CBT again.

 

This course is all off-road and focuses solely on learning the controls of a geared bike.

 

 

Necessary information:

 

This course starts and finishes at our off-road training site. 

 

We recommend you bringing your OWN legal motorcycle safety helmet. 

If you don't we will lend you one on the day but you must call us to reserve you a helmet at least 24 hours in advance of your course.

 

YOU MUST bring you own motorcycle gloves & be dressed appropriately for riding a motorcycle on public roads as well as the weather conditions.

If you do not have your own gear, there is a fully stocked motorcycle clothing & accessories shop (XPF Moto) at our main office location, where you can purchase your riding equipment. If you need to purchase equipment on the day please allow plenty of time to do so as our office and training site are not at the same location.
