Find a motorcycle CBT test in Fife
If you are hoping to take a motorcycle CBT test in Fife then this website will help you. You can find everything you need to find suitable CBT training close to you. You can also find training in Glenrothes, Markinch and Pitcoudie. Completing your 'Compulsory Basic Training' CBT test will allow you to ride any scooter, moped, electric motorbike, 50cc moped or 125cc motorbike of your choice. All you'll need to do is get a provisional UK license, suitable clothing and then book your CBT
Is CBT a test or an evaluation?
Contrary to popular belief, a CBT is more of an evaluation than a test; your instructor will, throughout the day, observe your abilities and, if you complete the day to the required competency, you shall be awarded a pass certificate (professionally known as a DL196). A CBT certificate is valid for two years and once you have completed your full motorcycle examination, you will no longer have to renew your CBT. However, if you do not carry on your training in Fife, you will be required to re-sit your CBT test after two years.
How can you help me find CBT training in Fife
When you use Book CBT Now to find a company for your CBT test in Fife you will only be provided with approved training bodies that meet all requirements set by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. We will provide you with all the relevant details about the company along with additional information such as; whether bike hire, helmet hire and gloves and jacket hire are included, if there is parking on the premises, if there is an indoor classroom and if they have female instructors. If you would like to find out more about the company local to you then we will also provide you with their contact details.
Will there by other learners with me?
On the day of your CBT test in Fife there may be others training with you, with a maximum of four per classroom, instructor aside. When you subsequently take to the road, there are permitted to be two learners per instructor. This is in order to give a slightly more realistic scenario, as well as giving you someone to talk to, which can help with nerves.
